The Young Australian Broadway Chorus is the most dynamic musical theatre course for 8 -18 year olds in Australia, providing an exciting mix of tuition and on stage performance.
With a focus on developing performance skills, members enjoy weekly rehearsals in acting, song, and dance with professional drama directors, musical directors and choreographers. A proportional amount of time is spent on each skill with the aim of producing a well-rounded performer. Skills developed throughout the semester are showcased on stage in a performance at the National Theatre in St Kilda.
Advanced students also have the opportunity to be promoted into advanced performing groups, where their skills are refined and they are offered opportunities for touring and other public performances.
