Holly Shanahan, Senior Talent Agent

Since graduating with a Batchelor of Arts in Theatre Studies from Wellington’s Victoria University in 2002, Holly has worked extensively in many areas of the entertainment industry.

She has several years experience in actor management, working with The Pro Actors agency in New Zealand from 2002-2006, and is closing-in on eight years as a professional actress and creative. Her professional television, film and theatre credits span everything from Chekhov, to Power Rangers.

Holly is thrilled to be on board at TCA. She looks forward to developing, fostering and encouraging talent in the early stages of their professional careers, to furthering the careers of those already on their way, and to growing and developing the agency into the future.

 

Kate Boston Smith, Talent Agent

Kate is a writer /producer/ performer. She spent her youth singing with the Australian Girls Choir, but more recently completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Performing Arts at Monash University.

In 2010, Kate made her solo debut with her cabaret character “Kitty Bang”, in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF).  That same year she wrote, produce, performed three more shows: “Absolutely Gabulous”, “Kitty Bang: Through the Magnifying Glass”, and “A very Kitty Christmas”. 

This year Kate is a recipient of an Australia Council Grant, was a guest performer performed at “Dance Marathon”, performed “The Big (Kitty) Bang Theory” (MICF), and has collaborated on multiple projects for the Melbourne Fringe and ‘The Village” pop up Arts Festival.
