Entry into Beginners on Stage is by a try-out session.
Try-out sessions are fun, relaxed, free of charge and are designed to give prospective students and parents an insight to our classes.
Sessions are conducted in groups of approximately 15-20 children, and parents are invited into the try-out class as a supportive audience. The group, which at times will be split into smaller groups and pairs, is led through various performing activities, including improvisation, voice and movement.
After the try-out session, the company sends an offer to each student. We do our best to place each student in their chosen class providing their age and ability is appropriate and there is space in the class. Students are required to complete the enrolment forms and confirm payment plans before commencing class.
Try-out sessions are held twice a year; in February and June.
The Youth Theatre are running free try out sessions in February for intake into the program for 2011. You don't need any experience - just come and join in. Click here for more information.
