Auditions will be held between February 13-26, 2012. Regardless of where you attend an audition, you can choose to attend classes in 2012 at one of our eighteen venues around Melbourne.
Call the CPCA Head Office on (03) 9384 1644 to book your audition. Bookings are essential as audition sessions are grouped according to age so young people feel comfortable performing with their peers.
Auditions are held in groups according to age, and parents are encouraged to attend. The aim of the audition is to place prospective students in the most appropriate group for their age and ability - from newcomers to the performing arts, through to very experienced.
Developing performing skills? We encourage students who have had some performing arts experience to demonstrate these skills at the auditions. We have many levels of training and advanced performing level groups so can place students in classes to best nurture their abilities and interests.
No experience in the performing arts? None necessary! We specialise in giving young people their first introduction to the theatre and performing arts. Many children who join our programmes are wishing to develop confidence and self-esteem as well as performing skills so our auditions are designed to put everyone at ease.
