Children's Performing Company of Australia
Developing young people through the performing arts

Sing, Dance and Act

The most dynamic musical theatre course for young people in Australia, providing an exciting mix of tuition and on stage performance. With a focus on developing performance skills, students enjoy weekly rehearsals in acting, singing, and dancing with professional drama directors, music directors and choreographers.

Acting, Speech & Drama

Shakespeare's words are a reminder that we are always on stage, playing many parts as we continue to learn and grow. The Victorian Youth Theatre is designed to develop stagecraft skills such as improvisation, characterisation, voice projection and physicality whilst working towards a fully staged theatrical production each semester.

Talent Agency for Children and Young Adults

All members of the CPCA are eligible to join the Talent Company of Australia (TCA). TCA provides members with exciting opportunities to work with professional casting directors and working actors. Agency representation submits members to be considered for a diverse range of professional acting work across film, theatre and promotional work.

Song, Dance and Drama

Beginners OnStage supports children as they discover a new world of performing and creativity. With fun and structured weekly classes for girls and boys aged 5-7 years, students rehearse with a drama director, a music director and a choreographer. All students perform on stage each semester in a short play and a selection of song and dance items.
